Stevensons Marine – now located at Pine Harbour!
Formed only two years ago, Stevensons Marine, an arm of Stevenson Engineering, has grown remarkably. The demand for the services of this experienced team of engineers and staff has allowed real expansion and the recent establishment of the divisions own premises here at Pine Harbour.
Boasting a team of four engineers they have already found themselves plenty to do since opening at Pine Harbour with work already booked a full month ahead.
Servicing is done on anything connected with, or to a boat. From an outboard installation to a state of the art diesel engined superyacht. The high regard which one client has for the team has resulted in one engineer having his flight booked to Fiji for the second year in a row. As the 103ft superyacht he services does her annual trip to the islands.
Stevenson Marine does service and repairs to all makes of diesel engines, and with the back up of the Stevenson Engineering workshops can effect all manner of repairs. Like this launch which has had a close encounter with a rock, bending and twisting the shafts and propellers, along with the spade hung rudders. The shafts will be replaced from new ones turned by the engineering division, the transmissions will be removed, stripped and inspected while the other work will be done by the company’s workshops. This makes for economical repair work and a one-stop-shop type of service for the client.
Engines can be reconditioned, and a scheduled maintenance plan service is available, along with transmission and drive line servicing, dyno tuning up to 1000hp, computerized diagnostics and pre-purchase mechanical inspections.
The electrical side of a boats makeup is also catered for. With the design, supply and repair of communication and navigation systems, along with lighting, charging and starting systems being serviced. Stevenson are also specialists in fabrication, plumbing, pumping and waste apparatus. Stevensons have a full machine shop, hydraulic shop, fabrication workshop and they guarantee quality workmanship to the boat owner. With fully equipped mobile workshops, servicing the greater Auckland region is not a problem.
