With a wide range of activities, Pine Harbour Marina has something to entertain everyone.
You can also use Pine Harbour as your base to explore the local region. Take a drive through the idyllic surrounding countryside, visit one of the beautiful beaches nearby, call in at a vineyard or the farmers’ markets in nearby Clevedon, or enjoy a round of golf at the world-class Formosa Golf Club next door.

Pine Harbour Ferries run between Pine Harbour Marina and downtown Auckland 20 times daily, except Sundays. Up to date current Time Table. Our modern, high-speed catamarans can transport between 49 – 99 passengers at a time, either in the relaxing comfort of the inside cabin or on the open deck, for an exhilarating ride.
Supergold Card Fare Information:
Free travel period applies Monday-Friday from 9.00am until the last sailing of the day. Please note a ticket must be obtained prior to travel. SuperGold Card (or Auckland Transport approved Senior Citizen Card) must be shown when obtaining a ticket. For travel prior to 9.00am, the full adult fare applies.
Unaccompanied Children:
Travel for unaccompanied children under the age of 14 must be arranged prior to sailing with the skipper.
The Pine Harbour Cruising Club is a welcoming community for sailors, cruisers, and boating enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you’re an experienced mariner or new to life on the water, the club offers opportunities to connect with like-minded people, develop your skills, and enjoy the Hauraki Gulf. Membership is flexible, with options for full members, associates, and families, making it easy for anyone to get involved and share in the boating lifestyle.
Throughout the year, the club hosts a range of social and sailing events, from the champagne breakfast that kicks off the sailing season, to progressive dinners and festive Christmas gatherings. Competitive sailors can take part in regular race series, including the popular Twilight Series on Thursday evenings during summer and the Mount Gay Rum Series on Sundays during winter, complete with post-race social events and prize-givings. The Cruising Club is not just about sailing — it’s about building community, celebrating the water, and making the most of every day on the Gulf.

Membership:
The Pine Harbour Cruising Club is an inclusive, family-friendly bunch. All are welcome – sailors, racers and cruisers, those who are experienced and those who are learning the ropes – to come and join in the fun.Membership is just $130 per year with a nomination fee of $40. If you don’t have a boat but would like to crew on someone else’s, then the Associate/Crew Membership might be for you at $50. We also welcome families at $155.If you’re curious about becoming a member, simply complete an application form. If you have any questions, contact one of the team. No question is too silly!
Annual Events:
We hold several annual land-based events. There’s a Champagne Breakfast to kick off the season, a Progressive Dinner, and festive Christmas Dinner in December. Mostly though, the action happens out on the water. If you’d like more information, head over to the Pine Harbour Cruising Club.
Racing:
Racing is a big part of the Pine Harbour Cruising Club. We enjoy a high level of competition while keeping it fun and social. During the summer months, The Twilight Series – with its post-race barbeque and prize-giving – is on Thursday evenings. The Mount Gay Rum Series is on every other Sunday during Winter.
